Just got my order of 40 units of 8gb Sandisk memory cards

Just want to share with your guys on how I got my order of some memory cards shipped to Nigeria.

I got them from Amazon.com from two sellers

20 of SanDisk microSDHC 8GB Class 2 Card with SD Adapter (SDSDQ-8192) from mctechy at $99.80

20 of SanDisk microSDHC 8GB Class 2 Card with SD Adapter (SDSDQ-8192) from Overstocks Closeout at $108.8

Mctechy did a better packaging than Overstocks Closeout as theirs came with the plastic cover.

Paid for DHL shipping from myus at $49.22 for approx 1 lb shipping

Credit card transaction costs was about $20 total
Exchange rate = N160 to $1

So my total costs were 160 * ($99.8 + $49.22 + 108.8 + $20) = N44,451

For 40 8gb microSDHC memory cards, that means each unit cost me about N1,111 so this means I can sell each one above that price depending on how much profit I want, maybe N1500 and above. However, I've seen that these cards go from N3000 to N5000 in the market

How I ordered and got it shipped to Nigeria
- Made my order on Amazon.com account and used my us shipping address
- Got free shipping and it arrived in 2 days
- Made a shipping order on myUS.com account and was billed about $49
- My shipment was forwarded to Nigeria and I was able to track it via DHL tracking
- Received it at home within 3 days

Final comments:
I noticed that the packaging still had somem spaces left so I could have ordered for more units to reduce shipping cost per unit. I could have ordered a total of maybe 100 units rather than just 40 units to cut down shipping cost per unit. Perhaps that would be next time.

Very good,but I need to ask on a need-to-know basis. After the said memory cards av landed,hw does one source out for market, and is it a fast moving venture?

The $10 charge is for one time customers only and it is charged anytime you want to receive shipment if you are on an ordinary account. Premium members would only have to pay a $70 annual fee if they intend receiving items constantly throughout the year without paying any other additional fee other than their shipping costs to Nigeria.

So, if you are going to use the US address for a one time basis in a year, then you can go for their $10 membership plan but if you are going to use it for more than 7 times in a year, better to go for premium membership.
