Christmas is a crucial period for Business

The year is already ending as we are already in the 11th month which is just a few weeks to Christmas.
Now Christmas a very popular celebration period or day for people across the world. Although the celebration is more about Christians, it has actually become the most popular day of the year and even non-Christians alike do share in the celebration which is about rejoicing, sharing and love.

Now I don't know if you already know this but periods approaching Christmas are the most active times for shoppers across the world. Times like October, November and the first week of December are when people shop most for the entire part of the year and what they really buy are gifts and things they've always wanted to have. People also use this time to just spoil themselves a little since they've been working for the most part of the year without rest, but since Christmas is already coming, they now have more time for leisure and then end up spending more. It is even funny that people buy up things they can hardly afford during this time and mostly on credit. But you can't blame people for over spending, they hardly have time to spend since they've been mostly working for the most part of the year.

So here are the key things to put in mind if you want to make some money before and after Christmas:

- People are more spiritual
- People are more willing to spend

Here are ideas on what you can do to make some money during this period:

- Offer people ability to spend more quality time
- Don't focus too much on material products or services. Focus on the season
- Offer products and services that will add value to their live and will remain useful to them for the long term

- Internet products like e-books, entertainment and downloads
- Social activities like clubs and outdoor events and others like charities, launching and publicity campaigns
- Personal development products and services like on health and education
- Clothing, household items, cars, electronics, new gadgets and other personal assets.
- Iced blocks, Drinks and catering products and services

- Book launching
- Health products and services
- Travel and transportation services

There are lot of opportunities to make money during Christmas season but I wouldn't advice you to focus or sell on Christmas day as it's a day people spend more time with families, friends and with God too. But anytime before and after Christmas are good money making days.
