One of the surest ways to make money from the internet is by simply selling something and it's even better if you sell items that you can create once and sell many times without losing inventory or lacking stock. Get it? Create Once Sell Many times (COSM). These kind of items that you can sell and deliver online are digital items such as ebooks, pictures, videos and so on. You could create an information ebook on How to cook Egusi soup or another popular recipe. You can even create a video on how to repair an electronic device. It should just be something that adds value to or helps people and you are most likely going to make a sale when you list it in your e-store.

How do I receive payment?
Now one main problem Nigerians have is how to receive their money online assuming they were actually selling a product or service. Well there could be many payment processors that allow you to collect money online from your sales but none as far as I know that is cheaper and yet effective than liberty reserve. They only charge you a small commission when you receive money and there are no set up fees. Liberty reserve is a growing e-currency website that allows people to send and receive money. You can use it to sell items over and over again, even automatically. You just need to create your purchase button so that buyers can click to buy from you. So to receive payment with liberty reserve as a seller, you must first have an account and then setup a payment form with which buyers can pay you.

How does it work?
So first of all you create your digital file, upload it to a website and then create your payment button. When buyers click to buy, they get redirected to Liberty reserve secure site, make the payment and get redirected back to you so that they can download their file. You can deliver the file manually by email draft or automatically by using an IPN and for the latter you'd just need to also create a store within Liberty reserve and generate a secret code you'd use in your IPN.
